Iron On Transfer Papers

The local school here gave away Sub-Transfers printed with cute full color graphics to all the grade 3 students to print them at home with a home iron (w/parental supervision) on their favourite 50/50 (cotton/Poly) white t-shirt.

These full color transfers are not like the ones back in the 90', These new transfers are die-sub. Yes, from the looks of it this new transfer type has improved a lot as far as quality and may be on their way to be the first choice transfer type

Digital Heat Transfer Paper

The digital heat transfer paper media (heat press transfers) along with Bubble Jet and Lazer printers allow any one to create and make their own printed t-shirts, mouse pads, bibs...and more. It's a mega million dollar buisness.

Back in the 90's, there was a t-shirt shop on Yonge street that used a Kodak Lazer Color copy machine to make Heat Transfers to apply on t-shirts on the spot. At that time, Kodak did not allow any other paper media other than their specific regular photocopy paper (20 lbs.)to be fed thru their copiers. Never the less, this Retail custom t-shirts store did it anyway.

A short time later, this t-shirt printing process became a sales revenue income extention to all Photo Copy places. Now they too could offer their clients printed shirts beyond photocopies. From there on, this digital transfer process has grown in popularity to the max.

So, what else can you make with these digital transfers ?
